This is as simple as it gets to use – fill the pod – snap the pod into the battery – inhale to vape. If you are looking for a good looking pod mod this is a great shortlist contender from a brand with a superb record with pod mods.

E Cigarette Joyetech Atopack Penguin POD Starter Kit

Atopack Penguin E Cigarette in hand I was expecting big things from the Penguin especially as this was the new improved special edition version.

As the name suggests it looks like a penguin with the pod part pulling away from the battery body. The ‘tank’ can hold a very respectable 8.8mls of e-liquid and the coils are snapped in and out easily. The 2000mAH battery gives the Penguin POD a bit of a kick and you do get a good lung hit and decent enough clouds – so not really one for brand new vapers.

However I – unlike a lot of other reviewers – felt the flavor was really quite poor. Look it wasn’t bad flavor just well a bit wishy washy – but like I said other reviewers praise the flavor this cutie gives so bare that in mind. I thought it was quite a large device and given the finish is shiny it was difficult to keep hold of and I did drop mine more than once.

I was expecting a lot from this little guy and maybe that affected my judgment somewhat – but for the purpose of this article I have been using it again with some Lemon Lush [yummy stuff].

Sadly even with a fresh coil the flavor is still a little muted – maybe I got a bad batch because the rest of the world loves the Penguin!
